Pool Balls - Snooker Balls Pool and Snooker balls are an obvious essential to any pool or snooker game.
Pool Balls Traditional English Pool is played with one white cue ball, a black ball and a set of equal amount sof red and yellow balls. There are now sets available which are blue and yellow instead of red and yellow (which can often been seen in pubs and pool halls).
American Pool balls are slightly different and tend to be multi coloured and half with stripes and half will be full coloured. They are also numbered from 1 - 15 (number 8 being the black ball). They are also slightly larger than normal 2" balls at 2 1/4". This goes in line with American pool tables and cues generally being larger too.
